Derek Hough may be dancing his way to fatherhood soon.
The “Dancing With the Stars” judge told “Extra” Friday that he’s “absolutely” thinking about having kids with his new wife, Hayley Erbert.
“Are we ready to do this thing?” he asked his wife, who was standing off-camera.
Hough also gushed about being a newlywed after the pair tied the knot in Northern California in August, with sister Julianne’s ex-husband, Brooks Laich, serving as a groomsman.
“It’s so crazy to say that word ‘wife,’ honestly, and I love it,” he shared.
“Wait till you see the video. We got it the other day… I’m just bawling… It was like, I’m feeling it, man. It was like an ugly cry in the corner in the fetal position because I just thought it was so beautiful.”
The famed dancer also said he and Erbert had a “beautiful time” on their honeymoon to Italy.

Photos of Derek, 38, and Erbert, 28, emerged while they were vacationing in Europe, and the couple looked happier than ever as they kissed on an oceanside-dock.
Erbert was all smiles swimming in high-waisted, bridal white bikini bottoms and a matching top.
She wore her hair pulled back and accessorized with gold hoops and even coordinated her manicure and pedicure to her bathing suit in bridal white.
Shirtless Derek, meanwhile, showed off his shredded abs in striped board shorts.
The couple began dating in 2015 and got engaged seven years later.
Erbert stunned in a custom satin Marchesa gown and veil and wore jewelry by Ring Concierge.
The day after their nuptials, Derek and the “So You Think You Can Dance” alum were spotted kissing at Los Angeles International Airport before taking off for their honeymoon.
