Travis Kelce’s “Lover” Era.
The NFL player first sparked romance rumors with Taylor Swift in September 2023 when reports surfaced that they were “hanging out.” Two months prior, Kelce had revealed he tried — and failed — to give Swift his phone number at one of her Eras Tour concerts.
The A-listers then seemingly confirmed the speculation when Swift was spotted cheering for Kelce in his suite alongside his mother at a Kansas City Chiefs game on Sept. 24, 2023.
The footballer and the “Blank Space” singer were later photographed leaving the stadium together to go to a rooftop bar where they looked “very affectionate.”
However, before Swift, Kelce was previously linked to a few other ladies since rising to fame. Check out the rest of his former flames below.
Maya Benberry
Kelce took a chance on love and starred on his own E! dating reality show titled, “Chasing Kelce,” in 2016 where 50 women — one from each state — competed for his heart.
The athlete ended up choosing the contestant from Kentucky, Maya Benberry, despite having his doubts.
“I love your confidence, but, at times, it does get overconfident,” he told her at the time, according to the US Sun. “It kind of shows arrogance. I have been attracted to women like that my entire life and those relationships didn’t work because of that.”
However, he ultimately went with his heart over his head and chose Benberry as his winner. The two dated for just a few months before breaking up for unknown reasons.
Seven years later, Kelce reflected on his reality TV days and admitted that, while it sounded like a good idea at the time, he’s not so sure anymore.
“It was extremely awkward because I really didn’t have much to say about what we were doing on the show,” he said on a January episode of “The Pivot Podcast.”
He recalled “having so much fun buying whatever the hell I wanted to” that he saw the show as an opportunity to “make six figures in two weeks.”
Kayla Nicole
A year after Benberry, Kelce dated sports broadcaster and model Kayla Nicole from 2017 to May 2022.
The former couple began dating after Kelce flirted with her on Instagram by following her, liking pictures as she posted them and watching all of her Instagram Stories, he explained to E! News in February 2022.
“I was just stalking her and then finally on New Year’s, she gave in. And, you know, New Year, new me. She just shot her shot, jumped in my DMs and the rest is history,” he recalled.
The duo enjoyed several public outings and red-carpet events together, but they split for the first time in August 2020.
At the time, rumors were circulating that Kelce had been unfaithful to her, but he vehemently denied that storyline.
“This is fake news… a lie… and not why Kayla and I broke up… take all your hatred somewhere else please,” Kelce tweeted, according to a screenshot captured by TMZ.
They decided to give their relationship another shot a few months later, but they broke up for good in May 2022.
Neither Kelce nor Nicole have given a reason for the split, but they denied a Barstool Sports report that claimed it was because he made her “pay half of everything.”
“Not sure where y’all got this nonsense from, but it’s absurd and very false,” she tweeted in June 2022.
Kelce also encouraged people to not “buy into that s–t” on the same episode of “The Pivot Podcast.”
“We were in a relationship for five years. A hundred dollars here, a hundred dollars there wasn’t even thought about,” he said.
Zuri Hall
A few months after Nicole and Kelce called it quits for good, he sparked romance rumors with “Access Hollywood” correspondent Zuri Hall.
In October 2022, Hall was spotted sitting in his family’s suite at a Chiefs game, according to a screenshot from a Barstool Sports blog post. One of Kelce’s friends also shared a video of Hall with the NFL player in the background, Hollywood Life reported at the time.
Eagle-eyed fans then noticed that Hall and his ex Nicole, who previously followed each other on social media, unfollowed one another at the same time that the romance rumors sparked.
Neither Hall nor Kelce have ever addressed the rumors.
Taylor Swift
The NFL star publicly declared his interest in Swift in a July 2023 episode of his podcast with his brother, “New Heights.”
Kelce admitted that he attempted to give his number to Swift at her Kansas City, Mo., Eras Tour show in July 2023, but he never got the chance to exchange digits.
Fortunately for him, he and the “Love Story” songstress got in contact, which led to a Sept. 12, 2023 report claiming that the two were “hanging out.”
Travis played into the speculation on social media, and his brother, Jason Kelce, even jokingly confirmed the romance rumors were “100 percent true.”
“I think they’re doing great,” the Philadelphia Eagles athlete said before claiming he had no idea about what was actually going on.

Travis and Swift then made headlines on Sept. 24, 2023, when she was spotted cheering him on alongside his mom in their family suite.
Thew new couple was then photographed leaving the stadium together in their first sighting together.
From there, they celebrated the win by going out to a rooftop bar with the rest of his teammates where they appeared “very affectionate,” a source exclusively told Page Six.
The source spilled that they even “left together in an entourage of three vehicles at 1:10 a.m.”
Kelce and Swift have both kept quiet about the details of their new fling.
