Kylie Jenner seemingly addressed the comments surrounding her recent laid-back looks amid her romance with Timothée Chalamet, posting a tongue-in-cheek TikTok Thursday sharing she was taking some time off from her usual sexy ‘fits.
“Right now I’m not depressed, I’m just having a little break from slaying,” the 26-year-old reality star lip synched along to audio from TikTok star Isaac HP while standing in her bathroom wearing a white tank top and baggy black sweatpants.
“I’m just having a little break from slaying and then I’m gonna go back to slaying soon, so don’t you worry,” she ended the clip.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder — who is famous for her bold, body-hugging ‘fits — has definitely been dialing down the glam factor during some of her recent outings, even wearing a simple black tee and jeans as she took in some U.S. Open action with her “Wonka” actor boyfriend.
The Giggly Squad podcast addressed Jenner’s unusually casual style in an episode this week, with co-host Paige DeSorbo noting in a TikTok, “I do want to say about the Kardashians, every boyfriend they get, they take — they start to look like them. It’s like one of the weirdest things.”
The podcaster even likened the phenomenon to “when dogs start to look like their owners.”
“She’s in the U.S. Open in like, a T-shirt,” DeSorbo continued. “It’s like, what are you doing?”
Chalamet certainly seems to enjoy a more dressed-down lifestyle, unlike Jenner’s ex-boyfriend, Travis Scott, who is the father of her 5-year-old daughter, Stormi and 1-year-old son, Aire.
While the “Kardashians” star might have pulled a page from big sister Kourtney’s playbook by mirroring her bf’s style, her TikTok followers didn’t seem to mind.
